Join us for part two of 5 Bays, 1 Day 2024! This time we'll be exploring the second half of the Southern Coastline from Seatoun to Ōwhiro Bay. The walk will be 3-5 hours long, the terrain is all flat so it will be pretty easy.
There'll be a bunch of great sights along the way. 4 entertaining playgrounds, some delightful cafes, awesome WW2 bunkers, Wellington's best nudist beach, a real propellor from the Wahine (a ship that sadly sank in a storm in the 1960s), a grassy reserve perfect for hide and seek, plenty of rock pools, a tunnel running underneath the airport, and a ton of great views. Plus did I mention a gazillion chances for a nice swim?! You don't want to miss this.
We'll meet at the Welsh Dragon at 10am and catch the 2 bus from there to Seatoun. At the end of the day there's plenty of buses to get back home :)
