Midwinter

In addition to the earlier "mini midwinter" break, we also have 2 weeks with no uni right in the middle of winter, so we spend this time doing some longer and more ambitious alpine trips!

There will be a midwinter trip planning potluck at a club meeting before the uni break (this will be added to the calendar closer to the date) where everyone can discuss ideas and look for others to join their trips. Since we've got two whole weeks, that opens up options for big multi-day trips and even travelling down to the South Island!

This calendar listing is just a reminder of the dates, each individual trip will have its own calendar listing.

Most trips will require you to have done a snowcraft course (or to have similar experience with ice axes/crampons) 

Past trips include Arthurs Pass, Nelson Lakes, Kaikoura Range - the sky is the limit really!
