Mick plane wreck (near Otaki) day trip

This is a medium difficulty day trip within about an hour-or-so drive from Wellington.

The walk up to Mick is about 4hrs one-way, so we'll expect to be out for a full 8hr day of walking. Depending on our speed we might also visit the nearby Tangata Maunga.
This track is relatively well-cut but may involve some minor bush-bashing. It's also a decent climb (almost 700m elevation gain).

There's also a plane wreck here that we'll keep an eye out for!

For this trip I can drive and provide a car, but we'll need at least someone else with a full drivers license (since I'm on my learners).

If we can get a second car + driver then we can bring more people.

Also please note: I'm away tramping in the south island until April 4th (Thursday) and will be completely offline. I will not be able to reply to any emails until i'm back. I'll send out an email confirming whether the trip is still happening ASAP once I'm back!
