Last-minute day trip to Kapakapanui Hut

Feel like going tramping and the weather is good. Last-minute day trip to Kapakapanui Hut. Throwing this on the calendar so the club PLB knows where I am. 

Will go to Kapakapanui Hut the short way and either return the same way or complete the loop, depending on how I am feeling. Either way, I might pop up to the open summit above the hut to look at the view.

Trip involves crossing some rivers or streams. Apparently not difficult but wet feet are probably inevitable.
