Welly Weeknight Walkies - Mt Victoria

This is Welly Weeknight Walkies - weekly adventures across Wellington's urban cityscapes and scenic bush! Super social and very chaotic! :)

Trimester 2 begins with a bang with that most classic of Wellington's hikes: Mt Victoria. This peak is just 45min walk from the CBD. It has awesome views of town, the harbour and out to the airport. We'll head up one of the many paths from town, it's steepish to the summit but we'll go at a chill pace. It's a similar walk back, but there is a bus if anyone would prefer.

There's many cool things at the top, including a mini playground and a cannon, toilets too.

Meet outside the Welsh Dragon pub at the end of Courtenay Place at 5:45pm! Bring warm clothing, snacks/water, a torch and good vibes!
