Organiser: Justin Atkinson

We're teaming up with the VUW Society for Conservation Biology (VUW SCB) to clean up the Kumutoto forest.

This is a cute forest just a short walk from Kelburn campus. There's some unwanted weeds and also rubbish there, so we'll be helping to clear those. This will help improve the forest's health.

The SCB people are really friendly and care deeply about the environment, this is an awesome chance to help them look after Wellington's green belt. What's especially cool is that this initiative is run by students, so we're exhibiting strong leadership in the conservation space.

We'll meet at the subway at Kelburn campus at 9:45am, before walking 5min to the forest, which is just past Kelburn park.

Equipment provided, though if you have gloves/weeding tools please do bring them. The more the merrier!

Free lunch also provided after the event! :)
