Going to Girdlestone Peak - a Mountaineering Mission

I was thinking it would be cool to go up to Girdlestone Peak (from Turoa), camp there for the night, then go to summit plateau early the next day (Sunday). So leaving early Saturday morning, returning in the evening on Sunday.

This is a relatively advanced trip, so we'll only take four people and you should be able to prove your mettle in an alpine environment (ski touring, snowcraft, experienced tramper etc). Ideally, you should have a great sleeping bag. 

We will have to collect gear on Tuesday 15th.

Conditional to weather, of course - maybe the weekend after would be our back-up date.
