Welly Walkie - Orongorongo River Day Trip!

Hey everyone! 

I would like to run a day trip to Orongorongo River. EASY LEVEL.

We'll all meet outside hunter building at 9am then drive to Catchpool Valley (45 mins). We will walk from the road end along the Orongorongo track, but turn down Browns Track to get to the river (2 hours), next we will walk along the river and later the Big Bend track, perhaps go for a swim, and hopefully bag all 6 huts along the river (Boar Inn, Raukawa, Jans Hut, Turere Lodge, Haurangi Hut, Papatahi Hut - 2 hours), then walk back to Catchpool Valley from Papatahi Hut (3.5 hours). Finally, we will drive back (45 minutes).

It will be a day of lots of walking, and very likely some river crossings depending on the water level. But we'll also get some time to chill along the river and go for a swim. And should be an easy walk terrain wise (minus parts of navigating along the river).

Happy to postpone the trip if more convenient people wise or weather wise. I have a car that can take 4 people, so would be awesome if more people can provide transport for more numbers! Cost is $5 each which goes towards fuel for the drivers.
