Belmont Ridge Day Walk

Come explore one of the best views in Wellington, meet people before Freshers, or get back into the groove with a nice day walk!

Date: Saturday 1 March
Location: Belmont Regional Park, right on our doorstep!
Time: 3-4 hours
Difficulty: Easy (one climb, but otherwise mostly flat on easy track)
Bring: The usual daytrip stuff: lunch, snacks, water, good vibes. A secured hat and sunscreen is a must.
Plan: We meet at Petone Train Station at 11am. There's a lot of public transport options to get there, and parking is available roadside on Pito-One Rd if you need it. We start along the Korokoro Stream Track, and climb up towards Belmont Trig, posing for a quick photo before we get blown away by the wind, and completing the loop back to Petone Train Station. If we're not sick of each other by then, we can optionally grab a bite to eat on Jackson Street afterwards
