Wellington Weeknight Walkies - British Peak

Update: Access is confirmed! Weather looks OK but unpredictable, bring a raincoat. I've capped the number at 10 because we have 2 cars, if anyone else with a car signs up we can increase that

Somewhat ambitious evening trip in the western hills. From Chartwell, we follow  farm roads along the ridge to British Peak and down the hill, and maybe some off track on the way back up to the skyline. 3-4 hours, medium grade(I would call it easy-medium in the daytime). Ideally we would drive to Chartwell as it's a long walk up from the Crofton Downs station.

Bring plenty of snacks, water, warm clothes, a raincoat, sturdy shoes, and A HEAD TORCH. $5 for your driver would also be great.

If you forget your head torch I will insist on taping your phone to your head
