Outdoor First Aid Course

We do our best to teach you how to be safe in the outdoors... but sometimes shit hits the fan. So we're getting some professionals to teach you how to save yourself and your friends if that happens! 

This is a one and a half day course (12/13 July) run through Triple One Care, specifically focused on basic first aid and managing emergencies in the outdoors. 

Subsidised cost is $30 per person (usual cost is around $150 or higher).

Location: SU217/218 (Combined room), Student Union Building, VUW Kelburn Campus

This trip is not first-come first-served. We will choose participants based on past and future club involvement. We want this course to benefit you, but we also want it to benefit the club - e.g. if you go on a lot of club trips, giving you first aid skills would be beneficial; if you will share your knowledge with other club members, that would also be beneficial. 

We will need some people to share what they have learned at the club meeting at 6pm Tuesday 15th July.

Sign-ups close 3rd June, and we will aim to choose participants by 10th June.
