This is a project at Belmont Regional Park Restoration, Wellington, with Conservation Volunteers New Zealand (CVNZ). They need people to help out with planting, a lot of planting!
By planting native trees and shrubs, we will bring back the native forest and create an ecological corridor for wildlife to travel between Wellington, Porirua, Kapiti, and the Hutt Valley. This project aims to bring the community together to restore the hillsides of the Belmont Regional Park. We provide all the tools and training, and we can even transport you to the site. Just bring your energy and lunch. We will provide you with a yummy morning tea. Come have some fun planting with us at a stunning site that overlooks the Porirua coastline.
Sign up on the ConservationVolunteers.co.nz website: https://volunteerportal.conservationvolunteers.co.nz/s/make-booking
