Eastern Hutt Hut

There is an elusive Eastern Hutt hut in the Tararua Ranges betwen Alpha & Hutt Forks.
I've never been there, but I would like to check it out! 

This hut is for emergency use only as it is in a water catchment area. So we would either do it as a day trip or possibly continue on up to Alpha Hut. 

Medium Hard trip as this will be a long day (or 2) & there is no marked track for most of it. 

Not necessarily this weekend either. Will want good weather so we're not too miserable.
