Matariki from Te Ahumairangi

Kia ora all! 

Meeting at 4.30am at James Stellin Memorial park 

Please join us for an early morning of star gazing, hot drink drinking, good chats, and possibly battling the freezing cold. 

We would have loved to run this trip on Friday morning, but Tāwhirimātea had other plans, and it is unlikely Matariki will visible through the clouds and rain that Friday morning is forecasted to hold.

Sunday looks so far so good. 

This is a very casual trip and the more people the merrier. Be brave, set an alarm, peel yourself out of your warm bed and into the cold darkness. See you there. 

If you want to come a bit later we will be at the lookout. 

Bring:

• Warm clothes
• Blankets/sleeping bag (if you want maximum coziness)
• A cup (for hot drinks)
