Route description: Really epic trek up the mighty Waimakariri up to Barker Hut from where we totally summited Mt Murchison via Kahautea Col wink wink then retreated most contentedly back down to Waimakariri Falls Hut to recharge for a cheeky summit of Mt Rolleston and out over Rome Ridge, descending majestically into Arthurs Pass. 11/10 super epic, would do it again, definately worth doing a second time it was just thAt good.
