A group of 17 or so trampers met up at the Welsh Dragon on a calm evening. There was a mix of familar faces and new people, and it was a great chance to catch up and make new connections. We set off towards the Mount Victoria trailhead, chatting along the way. The path winded through the trees, offering glimpses of the city below. We had fun exploring the little playground area and checking out the old cannon up top. It was perfect for photos and to soak in the atmosphere. Afterwards, everyone at the top headed off to their seperate ways, hopefully nobody got kidnapped or killed.
