A group of keen trampers met up in the Hunter carpark, a super convenient spot to start from, with everybody catching up and talking. Afterwards, we set off into the gardens, traversing outside the cable car museum and getting a wonderful view of Wellington City. We looped through the garden pathways, stopping at the playground, with an attempt to climb the tall canopy without killing myself. We walked past the pond at a relaxed pace and visited all the landmarks in the Botans! At the end, we ended up at the Rose Garden and parted ways, with all of us going back to where we came from.
